Item Center Line Length Reporting

I have been trying to create a center line length report for some duct work. I have noticed that the center line length in the report does not always include the takeoffs or extensions not giving me the true length. Is there a way to edit how the center line length is calculated for each item (i.e. Round Elbow, Rectangular Elbow, Boot Tap, ...)

Thank you for your help.

Hello @kmilesZXEY4

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community!

Using your Autodesk Desktop Application can you confirm that you are using the most up to date version of Fabrication CADmep, and provide that information to me please?  This information can be found by typing Appinfo in the command line.

Can you include some screenshots or a Screencast to help explain what you are seeing and what you would like to see?

Thank you and I look forward to your thoughts!

Thank you for your interest in my question. Referencing the images I attached is an example of the problem I have. I made 2 fittings: the first is a 10"round 90 degree elbow and the second is the same with 12 inches of straight add to one side. The first table on the report I made, "Round ELL", I added a calculation to add in item dimension list #4 and #5 which are the bottom and top extension for the 90 degree gored elbow. In this table you can see the center line length of the fitting with the extension is 12" longer then the other fitting, which is correct. The second table, "Center Line Length", is just pulling the "item center line length" with no calculation. In this table, it is showing the lengths are the same for both fittings even though I added a 12 inches of straight to the one fitting. This is also an issue with tee fittings where it only gives me the length of the main body and not the takeoff.

My question, is there a place where I can edit the "item center line length" to add in any top/bottom extension or takeoff length so I do not have to add in a calculation to the table? I currently need to make multiple tables because different fittings need only certain "Item dimension list #'s" added into the calculation.

Thank you for any help you can give.

I was able to reproduce the problem and I will need to investigate further with my experts.

After reading your reply it sounds like you have an effective work-around, please let me know if I have this incorrect?

As soon as I have an update from them, I will reach out to you with an update!
