In Navisworks Manage 2017, the CADmep+ Elevation display is not reflecting the multiple option variables I've selected in both the drawing file and NAVIS settings. I've attached screen shots for reference.
ISSUES
1.) The CADmep+ Elevation is displayed in decimal inches.
a. Architechtural & Inches are selected in the drawing file's "Drawing Unit" dialogue box
b. Feet and Inches Fractions are selected in the "Interface/Display Units" section of the Options Editor in Navis
2.) The desired elevation orientation display is incorrect. It should display BOP elevation only.
a. within the Fabrication Database/Takeoff/CAD Settings, under the Annotation tab, I only have the B.O.D. section filled in with "BOP="
b. the T.O.D. section is blank and so is the Centerline section
c. Navis model displays both the TOP & the BOP elevations but without the acronyms
3.) The Section Data set up within the drawing file is not reflected within the Navis model.
a. the TOP & BOP that is displayed, is in reference to 0,0,0 elevation, not the finish floor of that particular level
SOLUTIONS
1.) I can get units to display in Feet and Inches Fractions, if I "NWCOUT" in AutoCAD and append the .nwc file into the Navis model
a. this is a partial solution - we should be able to get the correct units displayed whether appending a .dwg file or a .nwc file. Solutions anyone??
2.) None. Neither the .dwg file, nor the .nwc file displays correctly in Navis. Solutions anyone??
3.) None. I can't find a setting within Navis that might be effecting this. Solutions anyone??
