Is there a feature available within Autodesk that will assist in downloading Building3DContent from the website & maintaining a well defined folder structure?

Not really.

When you download and import content, it creates any folders it needs.

However if content was renamed or reoganized by Autodesk between when it was first downloaded and then later downloaded during an update, the update process does not clean up the old folders.  That needs to be done manualy.

If ITM in your drawing point to content that no longer exists in the same location/same name, the product list button in the ITM editor no longer will display the sizes.  VIPS command can take a mapping file (old path/name,new path/name) and update them.  This same mapping file can also be used to update your service templates to point to the new location/name of the content.

I don't belive Autodesk makes these for you. You'll again have to do it yourself.

The process for updating the service templates does NOT update the button tool tips but that can be done as well with a little Excel magic and export/reimport of button reports.
