HOW TO MAKE FABRICATION CADMEP VIEWABLE BY OTHERS WITHOUT FABRICATION SOFTWARE

Is there a way to make Fabrication CadMep viewable by others who do not have Fabrication software or who do not have object enablers? They need to be able to see the duct, duct sizes and elevations. Would it help to convert the drawing to dwf, dwfx, 3ddwf, dgn or fbx? Exploding, flattening or create2d ruins the duct size and elevation info. Any advice? Thank You.

Many are unwilling to install object enablers to view your work. I am trying to find out if there are any other options. I have tried converting the cad drawing to a jpeg then importing it into a cad drawing. But the visual quality is very bad. Any other ideas? Thank You.

Sorry, missed that part.

You can try saving graphics with drawing setting.  It allows users without enabler to see the objects.

It makes the drawing files 2x bigger.  Turn it on and save the drawing and then turn it back off.

see attached for setting location.

That saves the objects, now I just need to be able to show the duct size and elevations. I have saved graphics with drawing then I have looked for a way to show the data. I have tried explode, flatten and create 2D, but very often the data is ruined. For example the duct up text will show something absurd like a 24" long 2" rise will now say 23" rise. Duct text may go to an inverse of what it was. For instance a 24x12 may now say 12x24. And leader line may disappear. But these things do not happen consistently, which I don't understand. So I can save the element but I need to find a way to save the text now. Then I would be good to go. I have tried saving the text as a JPEG, but the graphic quality is terrible. There is probably a setting to fix that. But thank you for your help.

If I could find some way to get a copy of the text, that would be perfect. When I explode, flatten or create 2D, the info is ruined and no longer accurate. Thank You

Try using EXPLODETEXT command thru a layout viewport.

I've seen the text scale and twist weird when exploded but never inaccurate.
