Fabrication Tracker Application Setup and Questions

I'm currently setting up the Tracker Application for my company and have a few questions which I can not find the answers to anywhere if anyone could enlighten me:

 

1) when setting up why do I need to put a "Tracker" folder in the "MIS" folder, with a copy of all reports as I would need to create new ones for tracking?

 

2) I have only copied the CAMduct reports to the tracker folder, is it recommended to put the CADmep and ESTmep reports in too?

 

3) Is there an application available for scanning the QR codes or do you have to go through Citrix (saw that answer on another post but was old)

 

4) Can you put more than one piece of information on a QR code? (when I put the QR code on and scan it, the only information shown is the Item Number). Does the Tracker application know what Job etc. it has come from because of the database?

 

5) Leading to my next question - what difference does the project being connected make? does this mean that it knows from the item number which project the piece is from? as my company has a lot of projects therefore I haven't connected them yet incase it doesn't work.

 

6) What scans the QR code? Obviously a camera however I am struggling to understand how it all fits together

 

Any insight would be great and does anyone know of any demonstration videos? none on youtube, many thanks
