When selecting a pipe in Fabrication CADmep 2018, the pipe shows to be 1.5" rather than the proper size. After adjusting the length I have ti select the correct diameter from the drop-down menu or the  selected pipe will be 1.5" diameter.

I'm not understanding your problem. Most fabrication piping related items are product listed...when you insert them, you need to select the proper pipe size which seems like what you're describing.

Can you elaborate more on what the issue is?

What I was trying to explain is, when I select a pipe on the drawing to stretch or shorten, the pop-up shows it to be 1.5 in. rather than the pipe’s size, no matter the size. If I reset the length, I have to remember to also reset the diameter at the tab on top of the window, or the pipe will be 1.5” diameter

Does this happen for all piping materials? Copper, Cabron Steel, etc. Sounds like the material OD's may not be set properly.

Install Autodesk Screencast and record what's going on an post a link so we can see.
