I'm having a reoccurring issue of various CID 937 Sub-Assemblies disappearing at random from my models.
They don't seem to actually be entirely missing from the drawing database though, as they can curiously still be found and selected from the Selection Filter (lightning bolt magnifying glass toolbar button). It would seem only their geometry vanishes. The biggest problem here is it seems to happen completely randomly and is very difficult to replicate.
After scouring Google and various other forums the problem seems to have existed in the past around 2014-2015 but information is scarce and seemingly unresolved.
Note: The proposed "FILL2ENDS" cause and solution in the 2nd link does not seem to fit my scenario
I'm reaching out here to see if anyone else has or has had this peculiar problem, and hopefully has a solution.
Some info regarding my specifics:
- CADmep 2020 (have not tested 2021+)
- Most affected assemblies are of varying support/hanger ITMs (838, 910, etc)
- Some others affected are of common Pipework ITMs (2041, 868)
- Library paths to assembled source content have not been modified
- Happening at random, some disappear while others of the same assembly remain unaffected
