Difficulties with Imperial Content and modifying Services

Hello,

      So I am setting up services for the first time and I can't find a single ounce of support that doesn't charge out the nose. My issues:

1. Why is it that when I add to the Imperial Content folder; it isn't there when I open FAB,I have read/write? 
2. How do I go about creating these files in an acceptable manner to produce new options on service creation?
3. Aso noticing .ITM .PNG .SAT files is there a bug free software anyone suggests?

Just really frustrated today, any help is greatly appreciated.
