Change Multiple Item Properties at Once

I would like an option on rght click menu for when I choose multiple items in a job.

When we revise items for production sometimes we decide to flow according to available rolls or go for cost reduction. Therefore we may need to change material properties of hundreds of items at once.

For example, at first we enter all 180 items with galvanized 0,8mm sheet and then decide to change 80 of them to 0,6 mm. I open every item one by one and change value then accept one by one... It takes a lot of time.

I would like to have options like changing materials or flange types in batch mode from main list.

The option you are looking for is at the bottom of the Right Click Menu that you show, but your screen capture is cutting it off.

Below "Delete" there are 3 more options and the last one is "Properties" which will allow you to do what you are requesting.

Nope. I know what you mean but when I select multiple items , many tabs disappear from properties window...

That is kind of frustrating.

You will need to configure what information is available to the Multiple Item Properties.

If you update to the latest version you can access the properties directly from that dialog, alternatively select Database, Takeoff and Multiple Item Properties, add the Material and Gauge entry to the list on the right.

Thank you, I didnt see that button somehow. Now it works fine.

Btw, I figured that it oesn't let me change values if there are nested parts in selection.

Yes, that is "by design" as often the parts would need redeveloping for the different material/gauge.
