Camduct layers on DXF export

Hello all,

I am working with duct board and need to cut some sides with straight knife and others with angled knife. However, my machine needs the DXF file to have layers; one layer corresponds to one tool (straight knife) and the other layer to angled knife. i was able to nest a part and camduct shows the green and blue (straight and angle cut) lines correctly but this does not show on the DXF file. Am i missing a setting?

Dear Mr Lance,

Please find the attached dxf file i am getting, see the layer 0 looks like a bevel but it is not even defined nor is it correct, but i am getting KNIFE as correct layer. Please could you share your database with the settings? that would save me really...

After much struggle i came back to your solution, which works as i need it to... what i do not understand is that why can this not be done via the nested page?

It can be done from exporting the nest, as I showed in my last post.
You just need to get your settings correct.
