Hi hope somebody can help.

We recently purchase Camduct 2016  and we have problems with our nesting

We can only rotate flip a part 180degree this is a problem

For Example taper 1200x900-1550x900 600long

Our sheets is 1500mm wide x 3000mm (coil)

It don't want to rotate part to it fit on our sheets then is shows part to big and want to brake it up .

Please help

If you go to the nesting options, go to the Method tab. From there, there's an "Advanced" button where you can select the rotation increments the nesting algorithms are allowed to use.

Hallo Autodesk,

We have set rotation angles to 10 and 90 degree. It still do not rotate the part.

The sheet size is 1500 x 3000 so the part is 1550 x 900 which is not an oversize part but CAMDUCT identify it as a oversize part and want to nest across sheet (1500 side) and not rotate it so that it is nested on the 3000 side.

In manual nesting when trying to rotate the part it will not rotate the part 90 degrees to make it fit.

Is there a way we can export our data base to you so that you can investigate this error?

Wold you like to connect by remote desk top?

Check to see if Graining is restricting rotation.

Hi Darren,

Thank you After we insert a part when it is oversise we accept it and then just right click on the item and then go to Devolpments and there we then set the graining angle's then it works fine.Is there a way we can set this as a default before we insert parts

Regards
