CADmep update 2017.2.1 Causes spooling scripts not to work

Anyone else recently updated to 2017.2.1 and have custom scripts for spooling?  We have a few computers that are updated to the recently released 2017.2.1 and use a custom script for our spooling of fabrication drawings and have found that this update prevents the script for working properly.  The issue that we have is that the job information is not being filled out in our title block which it was doing just fine pre 2017.2.1 update.  If anyone has encountered this already and has found a fix, what steps did you take to fix the issue?

Jason,

we have the same problem here. JOBINFO does not save in 2017.2 therefore cannot transfer. in 2017.2.1 JOBINFO saves in main drawing but does not transfer to spool drawing. as far as I am aware they haven't fixed this yet.

Any updates on this?  Or good workarounds or ways to uninstall install the updates?  This is a pretty cumbersome issue when you are generating hundreds of spools.

Liz,

They put out a new update 2017.2.2 that fixes the problem with the JOBINFO and spooling.

Thanks you very much. 1 person in our office was updated to 2012.2.2 through their Desktop Application. It doesn't show up in anyone else's App, nor is it easily google-able. Luckily he hadn't cleared out his download folder and I was able to grab the download from his computer and will be applying it to the other 40 users. This has been a constant issue with the Desktop App and the inconsistent timing with which it doles out updates.

Hi Liz,

Looks like Autodesk pulled the 2017.2.2 update.  It was causing issues w/straight duct lengths often not honoring the connector turnover.

I'd only advise 2017.2.2 for piping/electrical trades and stick with 2017.2.1 for Sheetmetal.

If you still need 2017.2.2 whoever did install it likely has in in the folder where the desktop apps downloads to their local system. Or Email me directly and I can get it over to you.

Thanks Darren. I didn't realize that it pulled the 2017.2.2 update. Yes I have connector issues with duct in the 2.2 update but do more piping than duct at this time. Plus the spooling issue being fixed is worth staying with it.
