CADmep Select which configuration to use-Remember this next time not working

Hello,

I am trying to launch CADmep without the program asking me which configuration to use when opening.  I have checked and unchecked the Remember this next time box several times to toggle and untoggle it, but the choose configuration window pops up everytime regardless if that box is check or unchecked.

It's a bug.  I reported to Autodesk and they are unwilling to fix it.

Bug started in 2022 and continues in 2023.
