Build #3.07.545.2019.1

I'm being told by a Fabrication Specialist that there is a newer version of Fabrication (a service pack) that I should be running but my desktop application doesn't show Fabrication in the list of programs so I can't find the build #3.07.545.2019.1 so I'm still running 3.07.500. I have a subscription to AEC Collection 2019 which includes Fabrication. First thing I would like to know is why doesn't the desktop app identify Fabrication as one of my programs? Secondly I need to know is where can I obtain the download for the current build so that my add-ins can be loaded?

Hello @allensickles8266

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community!

I just checked my 2019 Fabrication CADmep and this is the information I found when typing Appinfo in the command line.

I am not sure where your contact got their information but the build 3.07.500 is the only version available at this time.

As you are a subscription customer, you will receive an update, possibly even an email letting you know to install updates for your programs via the Autodesk Desktop Application.

I am not sure why the desktop app does not identify Fabrication as one of your programs (I also get the same results on my end), my guess is that as Fabrication is built on top of AutoCAD as a vertical and because of this you will see those updates under AutoCAD.

Lastly as you can see in my first screenshot, at this time there is not another update for Fabrication CADmep 2019.  When it does come out, you will be notified and install those updates using your Autodesk Desktop Application as described.

Additionally, another good place to view your Autodesk content is by logging into your manage.autodesk.com account, on the left hand side your will see All Products and Services, if you select this you should be able to see all of the products and or services available to you.

2019.1 was released briefly toward the end of October but pulled from distribution about November 2nd (going from memory).  Historically this happens if they find critical issues with the update. The last couple times this happened, the next/fixed update was released about a month later but w/Autodesk University coming up next week and new product releases getting finalized for release 1st quarter of 2019, I wouldn't be surprised if it was later.

I've wrote about it in a little more detail here...

I saw your post. I also saw a previous post about the build I described. I'm not having issues with Fabrication. I'm having issues with a Trimble program that communicates with Fabrication. I have since established that the two programs must reside on the C drive. I have a full C drive so I've been installing programs on a secondary drive. Apparently not a good idea. Going to purchase a terabyte drive to make my C to alleviate the issue.

PS: The updates are now available again as of today. 2019.1 and 2018.3.

My desktop manager doesn't even list Fabrication as a program for updates so from where do I obtain the update?
