Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct with MultiCAM CNC Router Machine Setting Issues

Not applicable

I have recently done a a machine setup using Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct Software to create NC files to develop 2-D parts for Ductboard components in comercial HVAC system. The CNC machine is MultiCAM 4000x1200 router cutter.

The controller setting have been selected the MultiCAM Aus Post Processor by loading the mcamausgen64.vpl file.

and the preset point has been set as origin at bottom left cornor.

When starting the NC program, the machine is not working the LCD screen was telling a Code E303: Origin Y is too small, this is indicated a boundary issue.

I have contact MultiCAM Australia, they have advised the correct processor for the machine should be MultiCAM Australia M2CA Processor. I am not sure the mcamausgen64.vpl is the correct file to load and set.

the technical Engineer from MultiCAM tried to read through the g-code that generated from CAMduct, and he indicated that there is a G56 (origin related command) missing in between the line G90 and G21. Also the tool changing command M6 is also missing after M5 line. The engineer recommend to contact Autodesk.

I have attached a NC File (1108.NC) with Scripts that was creating the fault code: E303 Origin Y is too small.

Please provide some technical support and be advising to to go for next.

Thanks you very much.

Check out this link https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fabrication-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2....   There is always the option to have a 3rd party build a custom processor.
