I am a high school teacher using Autocad and have renewed my subscription until Oct 2025. After opening Autocad it says my subscription has expired. I have been trying to fix this for several days and need this software ASAP. Please assist me in resolving this issue.

Hi @ntaliaferro,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Can you try resetting the licensing service? This will force the software to fetch your new updated license rather than use the current expired one. Please click here to view the article that walks you through this process.

I hope this helps,

No this does not help. I do not have a triangle to manage license type. I am a high school teacher and use my email to sign in. AutoCAD allows me to sign into the software but then prompts me that my subscription has expired. On my Autodesk account it says that I am good to use the software until Oct. 2025. I can login and use Inventor and Revit with no problem but not AutoCAD. I need this software yesterday, very frustrated.

Hi @ntaliaferro,

I understand. Can you try using the license support tool? I'll to the article containing the download and instructions. Once the licensing support tool is open, the licensing service for AutoCAD can be reset on the Installed Products tab by selecting AutoCAD, then selecting Reset before clicking Apply changes.

Hi @ntaliaferro,

Did the licensing support tool linked to in my previous tool work in resetting your license? If everything is working well, I'd be happy to hear from you; otherwise, please don't hesitate to let me know of any issues or questions.

No, none of these solutions have worked. My IT guy even tried to do this to no success and he is baffled. I am beyond frustrated and will be Introducing AutoCAD to my engineering students tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct 29th and this is not going to go well.

Hi @ntaliaferro,

I just had a look to see if you had any support cases open on your account and I can now see there is an Export Block on your account, which would explain why the licenses aren't working. I've opened a new case and escalated within our Education support team.

Hi Everyone,

In the spirit of transparency, I have marked the above reply as the solution as our support team resolved the issue by reassigning AutoCAD to @ntaliaferro's account from Autodesk's side. If you face the same issue in the future, please reach out to our Education Team through the Autodesk Assistant.
