Which setting actually controls the clearance between copper pours?

Hi,

I'm trying to work out which setting in Eagle sets the clearance of a copper pour to either a via or another copper pour.

 

In properties, if isolate is set to 0, what clearance does that actually give me?

Is that clearance then set by some value in the design rules?

If I set the isolate number to something other than 0, what happens then?

The "Isolate" value defines the minimum distance between the copper pour and other objects it needs to avoid (e.g., vias, traces, or pads).

If "Isolate" is set to 0, the polygon relies entirely on the clearance settings defined in the Design Rules for spacing.  Always run the DRC after modifying isolate values or design rules to ensure there are no clearance violations. https://www.pcbway.com/blog/2/Design_Rule_Check_DRC.html
