Walkaround obstacles not working

For some reason in version 8.2.2 and 8.4.0 the walkaround obstacles does not work anymore, it insists on laying wire across different signals and through vias and I can't get it to go around them. How can I fix this, or is it a bug that will wait for the next update?

Hey Katie,

This part of the code did not really change in any of the last releases. To help us fix this, we will need some more details.

- Did this same operation work in a version prior to 8.2.2?

- Could you verify that the current trace you are routing is not yet violating any DRC rules? Currently the obstacle avoidance will only work if there are no violations present. E.g. if you start routing from a pad / via that lies inside of a "restrict" area, nothing will be avoided. 

A video showing the issue or even a screenshot could also be very helpful to hunt this down.

As you can see, before when the walkaround was chosen, the wire would avoid vias, components and other wires. After, the wire goes over components and other wires even when the walkaround is selected.
