Thicken via pad cross

thicker_pads.PNG

I have changed the net class to increase the default width and auto-routed again, but these pads still seem to have some fairly thins connections to the ground plane. I've looked through many questions and posts about this but I cannot find what to change in this layout to thicken this pads.

Ideally I would like it to look like this:

Any help is greatly appreciated!

This is a bit of an FAQ

Those "spokes" are created at the width specified for the polygon. Increase that and you'll get fatter ones. It also makes the edges of the polygon a bit softer and may prevent it passing through small gaps. You can get round that by defining overlapping polygons with the same name (net) but different widths.

Thanks a lot! That did the trick.
