Poor graphics quality in Eagle

My workstation is an Intel i5 with 16GB of RAM and a Nvidia GTX 1070. Yet, when designing a schematic the graphic quality seems to be very poor. Fonts appear misshapen and symbols are jaggy and do not have smooth curves and angles.

I'm new to Eagle, and schematic design in general, and I can't believe this is standard. When watching the webinars from the Eagle team, everything in the demo appears to render very clearly.

Is there some settings I need to adjust to improve the quality of the graphics?

Why yes there is a setting that should make it better.

Select "User Interface" from the Options menu (of any module:  Control Panel, Schematic, Library Editor, PCB).  Make sure the box "Enable High DPI Scaling" is selected.  If you change it, then restart EAGLE and you should have better graphics when it restarts.
