Persistent Message: Design Uses Managed Libraries That Haven't Been Download Yet

Hi Everyone,

I'm making a couple variations of a board and to save time I'm reusing circuits made in the schematic editor. Copying these over to the new schematic works fine but when I close Eagle and reopen it I get the same message every time saying that "Your design uses managed libraries that have not yet been downloaded. Open Managed Libraries to download and use these libraries". I click the link, the libraries download and all is well....until I close Eagle and reopen the same exact schematic and I get the message again.

Any ideas what could be causing this issue? I didn't move or delete any libraries. And the download is successful but it's like the downloaded libraries aren't persistent or something.

Thank you

this is just a wild guess but...

after downloading them from the link, and making sure they are in use, try selecting "update all" under the "library" heading in the menu bar.

this will actually update the parts used in the sch/brd files. otherwise i would guess it does not actually automatically update the parts used just because the lbr file changed. this is because the brd/sch actually contain a definition of the parts used so that the files can be used by someone without that library. when you "update all" it will refresh these parts from the new version of the library, and after you save it will will then actually contain the newer parts.
