NGSPICE buildin version not working

Hi

I am trying to simulate a High Speed Comparator with Latch. With the help of edpataky I went a good direction up to the point where I got the following error message when I try to simulate with the EAGLE build in version of NGSPICE

NGSPICE - orginal EAGLE 9.1.1.jpgAfter I changed to the latest build of NGSPICE version 28 which I installed on C:\SPICE64 and set the EAGLE simulator directory to point there I got a proper simulation. See below.
NGSPICE - latest build version 28.jpg

I am happy to see results but there seems to be a problem with the build in version. This does not find the init file. The build downloaded from web does.

Regards, Harald

i cannot reproduce the error you see with the init file, but maybe it is due to some bug that existed before and has been fixed ..? .. can you tell me what version of EAGLE you are using?

EAGLE 9.1.1. I found some enviroment variables used for SPICE. Are they correct?

Whatever is needed by the system will be added properly automatically .. in the version 9.1.1 i am running on windows, these do not exist .. did you add them?

these are set dynamically in the latest versions .. when you run simulation .. i would try deleting them, then running simulation again

Hi

Removing these environment variables did not work but I use now the ngspice in C:\SPICE64 and point the dirs in EAGLE to the directory and that works fine.

Thanks a lot.

Harald.
