Multiple Layer PCB Tutorial

Hello,

I am having an issue with creating a 4-layer PCB. I want to have a Top, GND, 3.3V and Bottom layer to my board. So far, I have not found sufficient step-by-step tutorials for this process online.

What I have done so far is the following. I set my DRC settings to:

(1*2+15*16)

I then made two polygons. One was made and set to layer 2 (GND), and named GND. The other was made and set for layer 15 (3.3V) and named 3.3V.

I am worried about whether this will work properly, because when I am in the "Layer Settings..." panel this weird thing happens where I will change the color of Layer 15, and both Layer 15 and Layer 1 change to the same color. Is this supposed to happen?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind regards,

Nick

Hi  Nicholas.vannest,

Thanks for your Autodesk EAGLE forum participation.  That shouldn't work that way. That is a known bug, it will be fixed by our next release. Continue working with the 4 layer setup you defined.

Regards,

Edwin
