Move a device to a new layer

I have created an insole circuit that I want to have for both the left and right foot, which is just a mirror of each other. My design is really simple with copper pads at various locations on the foot. I designed the pads as devices to make everything work with the schematics. I designed the board for the right foot and then mirrored the entire board. This worked well except now all of the components/wires/devices are on the bottom layer.

I am able to move the wires to the top layer again using the "change layer" command but I am unable to change the layer of the devices. How can I change the layer these items are on without having to redraw everything?

If you're going to populate the device on the other side of the board, it's going to be the other way up, not just translated through. In Eagle terms, this means you need to "MIRROR" it.

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. This is actually a good opportunity to use the object inspector. With the selection filter, set it up to only select devices. Form the group with the components you need to bring back to the top. In the object inspector choose the mirror quick action at the bottom. This will allow you to mirror all the devices in place. Super useful.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks! That worked like a champ. I thought I had tried that but for some reason, it worked this time.
