You guys have not answered my e-mails or phone calls. Are you going to honor the old maker version sold by MCM electronics.

Hi Ron,

If you order had already been processed before the 12th of Jan then we can send you your credentials because you are already in our system. If you purchased after the 12th of Jan then you need to contact MCM for a refund.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, it's been crazy around here.

Best Regards,

I have the V6 also not activated from MCM - and was planning to use it for the non-profit amateur radio club I am the Repeater Trustee of.

Will you activate  or can you provide something that our NPO can use?

The Amateur Radio Club of Augusta is organized as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Georgia (since 1957) and holds a 501(c)(3) public charity status with the United States IRS.  Donations to the Amateur Radio Club of Augusta are tax-deductible and we are happy to provide documentation of your donation upon request.

Hello Mankatoan,

I hope you're doing well. Please contact [email protected] and she'll look into it. If you ordered a V6 and never registered it(wow it's been a while) it's likely we won't be able to do anything and you'll have to see if they will refund you.

If it was registered then we should be able to send you a new packing list.

Please accept as solution if this resolves your issue.

Best Regards,

If figures, Autodesk is only going to honor subscription for existing customers. I do have three copies of Eagle seven, but they are not properly registered, and I am still happily using version 5.3.

I work at a large bureaucracy and mangers often make decisions in complete isolation from the real world. My company uses many variations of software, Altera Quartus, Xilinx ISE, Pro-E, Autocad, Eagle, Altium, Mentor, Matlab, Labview, etc. Often we buy a version and don't upgrade it every year. Funds are not available to afford us this luxury. In fact I recently went from Quartus version 8.0 to 13.0. So it can be many years between versions. In fact, this is the case with Eagle, I started at version 3.5, updated about three times during the intervening years to version 7. So what I am saying is that we avoid subscription software like the plague, because we can't guarantee funding to support the costs.

So you not honoring old subscriptions will generate bad will, and your new cost model, while sounding good from a financial perspective, will ultimately fail in the marketplace.

No need to respond, consider me a lost customer.

Hi Ronp,

I think we need to investigate this further. Of all the old licenses you have after 5.3 I have to believe that they were properly processed. Could you e-mail me directly [email protected] with any documentation you have on those old licenses and I'll see if you show up in our database.

If you do, then I can send you all of your licensing credentials.
