Managing Library

Good morning, I have a problem with libraries. When I try to run the command for the managing library of some libraries like Wuerth Elektronik (downloaded from their site ... EMC components or Board To board etc.) the program reports an error. Are they by chance too heavy?

Thank you

Tommaso

Hello @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. Could you include a screenshot of the error? As far as we know it should be working just fine. Many users have downloaded those libraries and currently use them.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

I'm still looking for the version before buying the professional next week. I wanted to test the software before buying it. Can it be dependent on this? Here is the screenshot Thank you

Hello @raspanel,

I hope you're doing well. That library seems very large, how big is it? You might have to split it up into two libraries to see that they will become managed.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hello,

All the Wurth libraries are available in the Managed Libraries system already, so you don't need to download them from the Wurth website and add them to your own Managed libraries. It's better this way as you can easily keep up to date as Wurth update their managed versions and Autodesk make them available.

Best Regards,

Rachael

Good morning,
The problem is that I can not edit or associate the 3d of the libraries if it is not previously imported into my libraries ..
Thank you

Hello @raspanel,

I hope you're doing well. What you need to do in this scenario is copy from the Wurth libraries into your own personal library. This will allow you to modify the parts and assign 3D models. You can only modify managed libaries that you create.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
