Managed libary duplicate assests error

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

after I added six step files to my managed libary via the browser and pressed "upadate all" the site loaded for ever and then crashed. Now when I try to open the libary in the browser, via circuits.io, it shows an error message (can be seen in the screenshot below) about duplicate assets and that support has to resolve this problem. Please solve this issue I really need that libary! Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Paul Aspalter

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the forums!! If you can go the library.io home page and hover over the library name. You'll see the URN or AssetID of the library. Could you reply with that information?

Also you can get the managed library from your C Drive. Upload it and we can take a look. You'll find it:

C:\Users\Jorge\AppData\Roaming\eagle\lbr

Replace Jorge with your user name. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hello Jorge Garcia,

it seems as if the circuits.io UI has changed, at least for me. Now I dont get any more errors but I also can edit the libary in circuits.io but it seems as its intended this way.
And i cant find the URN or asset id. When i hover over the libary nothing appears.
Best Regards,

Paul Aspalter

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. Am I understanding correctly that the problem has been resolved? All editing is now to be done within EAGLE, we hope that will minimize confusion when working with managed libraries.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hello Jorge Garcia,

it seemed to me as there are no errors but as i tried to update the libary it gave me an error:

"

Loading C:/Users/paasp/AppData/Roaming/Eagle/lbr/adsk.eagle_library_3050274/Interface v3_2.lbr ...

Fehler:

Zeile 17619, Spalte 12: Redefinition des Namens 'NULL.LOGIC_74*74' im Tag <deviceset>

 "
The error message in english would be: "Line 17619, coloum 12: redefinition of the name 'NULL.LOGIC_74*74' in the tag <deviceset>". How do I solve this problem. I have uploaded the libary and the URN of it is: urn:adsk.eagle:library:3050274.

Best regards,

Paul Aspalter

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. The solution is to open the library in a text editor and remove the duplicate definitions. In this case I have done it for you. You had almost 10 parts duplicated, I removed all of the duplicates and now the library opens up just fine.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
