Hi,

I´ve just finished my board and one thing comes to my mind - Intellisense. It would be very helpfull if you could write few letters of name signal (just an example) and intellisense would offer you all names which starts with these letters. Have thought about it?

Hello @havlicek6TH3H,

I hope your'e having a good day. On the command line we do have command completion for EAGLE commands. However I do think it could be a good addition to the name command when naming a net. I'll run this by the devs and see what they think of it.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Hi,

just for clarification.

Command completition on command line is good, but I would use other style in the name window.

Something like in Eclipse. Example:

signals RS485_BUS_TX, RS485_BUS_RX, RS485_BUS_DE, RS485_IN_TX, RS485_IN_RX, RS485_IN_DE

Now you want to connect some pin to RS485_BUS_RX - you start write RS485, press (for example) CTRL+Space and there is scroll menu with all signals which starts with RS485 and you can choose.

I spend lot of time on finding exact names on my boards. (Yes, I should remember all names but most of my projects share similiar names and it´s waste of time to find in exact names of signals).
