How do I save projects and libraries to the cloud in Eagle like Fusion360

Hi,

So I started off using Fusion360 Electronics, but quickly found this frustrating and swapped over to using Eagle.

My colleague and I both have designs that we are working on, however these are saved locally. This is against our company policy of disaster recovery, all data should be in the cloud. What I want is to continue to use Eagle but save and work on designs from cloud data or at least have a method of backing up to the cloud. From searching help files and google etc, this does not look possible other than setting up a google drive directory on our PC's and moving the projects to there.

What do other do please?

TIA

James

I work for a company that has a more sane and rational approach to data security.

Version control. We use subversion but git or mercurial are every bit as good. Check in frequently. Then ensure the server is properly backed up. You can even use a cloud-based repository provider if you insist on being more obsessed with buzzwords than reality.

Hi @james.lawrenceQ6D37 ,

If you want to back up to the cloud from EAGLE, then click on the Fusion Team button on the Board editor. That will allow you to back up the Schematic, Board and Gerber files to Fusion Team which is on the cloud.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
