Error - "Please connect to the Internet to re-authenticate your EAGLE license."

Hello,

 

I just downloaded EAGLE 8. I'm on Windows 7. I restarted my computer like the program asked for after installation.

 

Each time I try to open the program, I get this error.

 

What do I do?

We are really sorry for this inconvenience, can you let me know if you computer does have internet access after the reboot? Are you behind any corporate firewall?

The developer continue to working on it, hope to get some resolution soon.  can you please provide you the following details:

 

- Exact linux version (run cat /etc/issue and uname -a) 

- Info about the network configuration (switching networks/interfaces???)

 

Please be as detailed as possible.

Like I said earlier I'm on Windows 7.

 

Network configurations:

- IPv4 Connectivity: Internet

- Media state:Enabled

- Security type: WPA2- Enterprise

 

What information are you referring to?

Hi Lancebantoto,

I hope you're doing well. The issue here is the corporate firewall situation you will probably have to connect through a proxy or make sure that port 443 is useable at your company.

Our next release will support access through proxy and that should be out in the next few weeks.

Except if the original poster subscribed, the subscription won't be valid for v7 and they will be stuck with Freeware functionality.

How can I downlaload the previous version in English ? I download  from the site given by you. but langauage is in german.

No still same problem. I download the software and then try to install it. but it automatically choose the german langauge . I need the software in english version.

Hi Thummar,

OK, then it's likely that you'll have to set an environment variable in order to have EAGLE open in english. It's possible that right now it's just using your regional settings (are you in germany?).

Section 2.7 (pg 34 of the 7.7 manual) of the EAGLE manual covers how you can adjust your environment variables so that EAGLE will open in English.

Dear Support,

 

I installed eagle 8 and wheni try to open it into my network behind a proxy , it request to re-authenticate?

 

id the proxy issue solved in eagle 8 or there is a special setting to work with proxy?

Hi mangiam,

I hope you're doing well. Our next release of EAGLE (due late this week early next) will support using proxies. Setup your proxies through your operating system settings.

Hi Lance,

I hope you're doing well. The links are the same, the EAGLE installer supports both languages. If you are not getting the language you want then see Section 2.7 of the EAGLE manual for how to specifically tell EAGLE what language to use.
