eagle version 4.15

Hi,

I have been using Eagle version 4.15 for all my PCB designs for many years on a 32-bit / W7 computer, which always has worked perfect for me.

I have a new 64-bit computer now and I cannot install my version 4.15 on it.

I am retired and I do not use Eagle as much as I used to, so $550/year for a new version is too expensive for me.

Is there an upgrade availble for my old version 4.15 so I can keep on using it on my new 64-bit computer?

Thank you & Best Regards,

Dolf

You can use it with Oracle VirtualBox or any other virtual machine.

Hi,

it's not necessary to install eagle on the new computer..

Only the installation routine is running on 64-Bit machines.

Just copy the complete eagle-path from your old computer to the new one.

Then start eagle.exe and/or make a new link-icon on your desktop.

Best regards

Andreas

Dear Andreas,

What a simple and briljant solution!
I just copied the complete Eagle directory from the old Program Files
directory to the one on the new computer.
I clicked on the eagle.exe file, then I had to add licence key and the
installation code, et voila, it worked immediately!

Thanks so much for your help!
All the best,

Dear Alex,

Thanks for your help.

Andreas came up with a simpler solution which worked perfectly and I
didn't have to install anything:

style="font-family: FrutigerNext-Regular,
'FrutigerNext-Regular', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">

it's not necessary to install eagle on the new computer..

Just copy the complete eagel-path from your old computer to
the new one.

Then start eagle.exe and/or make a new link-icon on your
desktop.

All the best,

Dolf Koch
