I just installed the eagle cad 8.0.1 premium on my brand new dell machine running windows 10 pro/64bit
I am experience that the eagle cad have problems to save library files and schematic files. When using save as.I get an error pop ut window which I have to close. Then the eagle cad program terminate.
After several reboot and nice talking I mage to save the files.
Any suggestion on what could be wrong.
I also tried to run the eagle cad as admin, but that did resolve the problem.

My installation is at root level C:\EAGLE 8.0.1 .
I do not have Lavasoft installed. I am using windows defender.
The same happens when I try to execute script in the library.
The software is crashing.
Please tell me if there is other things you want me to do.

I updated the driver for the videocard. After doing so, it seems to work properly.
But today not, same problem. It crashes.
Anything else I can do?

Same bug was present in the linux version 8.0.0. Lost a days work because of that. The update to 8.0.1 came the next day and fixed this issue.
I updated the software to eagle 8.02. The result was that the software will not start at all.
I am starting to feel that I am a member of a premature software testing group.
I have been reading through the forum, and there is many who is experience the unstabillity of this software.
I do not understand how you can make this version public and for sale.
And please tell me wy I need to reset the password everytime I sign in?

When I try to run 8.0.2 I get a blank screen. I am very frustrated. I have wasted a lot of time on this software.
What is the alternatives?
May I get my money back?

The problem persist. I have updated to 8.0.2.
Signed out of 8.0.1 logged into 8.0.2. Got rid of the blank screen.
But I can not edit and save library files, schematic or board files. The same problem as with 8.0.1.
The software terminates/crashes.
