Hi there

Symbol icon.pngDoes EAGLE 9.1.3 Education version provide symbol/device editor?  I can find symbol icon from my command toolbar, as discussed in ""https://www.element14.com/community/thread/64522/l/custom-smd-in-eagle-910?displayFullThread=true""

Thanks

That's the "invoke" icon - the hover hint says "activate another gate from an existing device" or such like.

If you're looking for the symbol editor, to edit a symbol in a library, you should look in the library editor, not the schematic editor.

This is all in the tutorials. Read them.

Hi @yan.cui,

I hope you're doing well. Just to add to @one-of-the-robs's comments.

We do provide a symbol/device editor in the educational version. To learn how to make parts you may want to check out this webinar we did recently.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

You're welcome. It's true that the icons have changed a couple of times recently, so a good few of the blog posts and videos will not match the latest version. Hopefully there's some date information available on them so you can get an idea whether to expect this.
