Hi emmanuel.iglesias,
Thanks for posting you questions on the forums, sorry for the inconvenience. I am not really sure which libraries you are referring too, the EAGLE default libraries or your own libraries? In either case you can click on the Library pull down menu and select the library you wish to place in use. Now it will appear in your ADD dialog box.
In the command line, you can type 'Use *' and press enter, this will place all libraries within the pre-defined library path in use.
Please 'accept as solution' if my reply resolves your issue.

Hi Edwin,
thanks for the quick answer! I'm referring to my own library. I made a library using eagle 8.1.0 and saved it on the default libraries folder. Today i got a message that eagle 8.1.1 was available to download and i updated my software but i cannot find the library i made anymore after the update. I even made a folder and it's no more there.

Emmanuel
Hi Emmanuel,
Every time you install EAGLE it will create and install in a new folder. The idea is that you can be using EAGLE 8.1.1 but your 8.1.0 (earlier version) directory structure will remain. Did you edit existing libraries and kept their original name?
Look for the folders you are missing in earlier installs of EAGLE.
I hope this helps.

Hi Edwin,
thanks a lot that was the problem. Found the libraries in the folder of the last Eagle version.

Hi Jorge,
thanks a lot for the help! I have another question but it's not related to this post. I wanted to do the pcb layout for a texas instruments MOSFET (specifically CSD17577Q3A). The recommended layout consist of a copper area and a polygon for the solder mask opening as seen in the attached image. The way i did it was just by drawing the shape using the polygon tool and placing it on the tStop layer. Is it ok that way or should i do it with rectangles? Because the coloring seems different. Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Emmanuel
The polygon tool is the correct tool to use. Make sure you draw that polygon shape on the tStop layer. Normally that layer is hatched, your picture looks like a solid fill. Please confirm that you drew that polygon on the tStop layer.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hello Jorge,
yes that's why i was a bit confused, it seems that when i use thin lines for the polygon contour it looks like that. If i zoom in the polygon is on the right layer. Thanks again for the help!

Hi, Jorge.
"I generally recommend that users store all of their work in the eagle folder in documents."
I'm hoping you can please tell me what I'm doing incorrectly. Upon reading your reply to another EAGLE user's question, I copied my custom parts library from EAGLE 7.6.0 to my EAGLE 8.2.1\doc folder. However, upon opening one of my v7.6.0 schematics in v8.2.1 I found that my custom parts library was not available.
Any ideas what I may be doing wrong here? Did I place my custom parts library in the wrong folder? Do I need to make changes via the EAGLE Control Panel Directories dialog?
Thank you for your help, Sir!
