I use eagle to design my pcb. I need to create a component which is the relay. The relay I want to create it’s library has through hole pins. I added to library these pins in footprint but I could not assign name to them. Therefore, I am not able to connect my symbol’s pins and footprint’s pads. How can I assign name to these pins? Or If there is easy way, please show me.

Hi @91220001781 ,

The connection is done at the Device level. The device is what maps the footprint to the symbol. Make sure to create the Device and then you'll see how you can connect them.

This video covers the whole process from start to Finish. It has timestamps so you can skip to the part you are interested in.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
