Can't close window while command is running!

I'm finding that EAGLE runs into this error and must be force quit for almost every other opening or closing of a symbol or package in a library. This bug is making the product unusable. Any chance it will be fixed?

I'm running into this on mac OSX sierra 10.12.3

Yes a fix would be nice. I know they are working on it as a lot of people have this issue. The best advice I can give you right now is to download v7.7 from here and use the freeware license to enable you to use the v7 library editor. You can use this to create your library parts whilst we wait for a stable version of v8 to be released.
