After moving a package in the board editor and then attempting to manually route a net, the package that was moved won't refresh any dirty rects that were moved over with the cursor as long as the route command is still active. I haven't tried this with any other editor windows due to the limited time I have.
I've attached a link to a video showing the problem and images of my current configuration. I'd create a screencast but Autodesk devs haven't figured out Linux yet.
Eric
Hi.
I have tried to reproduce this on my laptop, but I havn't been able to, neither with Intel or Nvidia gfx drivers.
Which Linux distribution and version are you using ?
Here I'm on ArchLinux
Okay, I have been able to reproduce the issue now.
And I can consitently either reproduce it or not reproduce it, depending on how I do the same actions as you do.
If you try to do the procedure shown in your video up until starting to route the connection after you have moved the part, here comes the clue, if the part is selected/highlighted before you begin the routing, then you see this issue, if you deselect/unhighlight the part first (by left clicking in the work area), the issue isn't seen.
So basically, if the part is selected/highlighted before starting the routing, the issue is seen.
Can you try to deselect the moved part before doing the routing, and confirm this ?
I can put up a video of it you any one wishes ?
@jorge_garcia2or @edwin.robledo here is another one for your bug list 😉
Hi Eric,
This is not a linux issue, it's actually an EAGLE issue. The same problem can be found on Windows and Mac, the devs have been able to reproduce it and are working on it.
Please accept as solution if my post fully resolves or you issue, or reply with additional details if the problem persists.
Best Regards,
