Hello,

what is the idea to show the 2 different VCC connections?

For ex. If i want to show 4V and 5V in my circuit then while having switch to board it shows vcc connection same for both even if i have given 2 different net names,

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for contributing on our forums. The supply symbols in EAGLE are very special, the name of the net they connect to is defined by the device name, not the value or reference designator you assign them. Hence changing the value that the supply symbol displays does nothing and that's why you continue to get VCC for both symbols.

If you notice EAGLE ships with two supply symbol libraries covering the most common rails(supply1 and supply2). If the voltage rail you wish to represent isn't available in these libraries then you have to make your own. Many years ago a user made a ULP to automate the creation of supply symbols, you can download it here.

This will allow you to make separate devices named +5V and 4V in whatever library you run the ULP. To run a ULP, type the word run in the library editor command line and press enter. Browse to the ULP you wish to run and click open.

Please accept as solution if my post fully resolves your issue, or reply with additional details if the problem persists.
