Hello everyone,

Does EAGLE import/open extension files .drl; .fab; .gbl; .gbs; .gtl; .gto; .gts; .cam or *.ncd?

If it is possibile, what is the procedure that I have to do to open/import these files?

Hello @markGlthen,

Most of those files are typical extensions for gerber files. EAGLE can import those to an extent by going File > Import > Gerber. Not every feature of the Gerber standard is implemented so your files may not import completely. The .cam extension is used by EAGLE for the CAM jobs so you can try in the CAM processor clicking File Open. We can not import drill files which is what I'm supposing the .drl and .ncd files are. I'm not sure what to make of the .fab.

One thing to keep in mind is that file extensions are not proprietary, there maybe multiple programs that use .cam as a file extension with totally different data. So wether EAGLE can open it or not depends a lot on what program created the file originally.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
