The default trace width comes from one of two location from my understanding, either the net setting or from the DRC file.
For some of my designs I use net class to define he minimum size for a net that will carry current. These signals also happen to have a branch on the net that will not carry current, either a voltage sense or led and these can use a smaller trace. I have found that in Eagle if I manually set the trace width smaller while routing that it will default to the larger of the net size in either net class or DRC. is there no way design removing the net label to force a net to be smaller than what is given in the net class but larger than the DRC?
I guess is this a bug or is this the intended behavior for net routing?
