Dynamic Block - Visibility state combining with a Array function

Hello,

In this project I have a problem with combining the array function with a visibility state function.

When you shrink the window by pulling the pickpoint you can notice that "windowbeams" appear

 The intention is that there pops-up a option in the last "windowbeam" that you can choose if you want to start the window on a full "windowbeam" (160mm) or if you want to start on length A, B, C,...

More description of the problem in the drawing.

Greats,

I'm afraid this will not be possible fully automatically.

I'd suggest this handling:

After stretching the window to a value of the (Parameter)List, you choose the visibility "without" (without additional block). If you stretch to any value between the given values, you choose (manual)  an apropriate visibility to fill the space.

In the attached  screencast I show how you can do it for the blocks 150 to 120. You must complete it with the remaining blocks.

I don't think that what you show in your screencast is the desired end result.  Based on the description in the block, when the partial beam sizes are chosen, the window should stretch larger.  The bottom of the partial beam should rest on the full beams below it.  I believe it is desired that all of the window sizes also be able to incorporate the partial beam sizes.  The following screencast shows how to get all of it working seamlessly and as desired.  I will also attach the block.

If you want a dropdown menu for the A, B, C, etc... sizes, that is doable also.  If you want all of the partial beam and full beam sizes incorporated into the main linear Distance 1 parameter and eliminate the smaller chained Distance3 parameter, that is also possible, but fairly complicated.  Let me know if those options are more desirable.

@Libbyaschrieb:

  I will also attach the block.

Wow. A good idea (and solution). Obviously i misunderstood the question a bit.
