Controlling grip location (dynamic block)

I'm almost done with this pipe support block but I've been stuck on this last bit for too long now.  Hopefully one of you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

As you can see from the attached dwg all the dimensional parameters are driven by a lookup table (pipe size) except the lower stem which can be sized as needed.  the problem is the grip for this function falls out of position if you change it and the lookup value in certain combinations.  It's a little erratic and I cant figure out whats driving it out of position.  Any help would be appreciated.

It's because of the way you have your scale set up with the chained linear parameter/stretch.  Here's a screencast of my blind run diagnostic process.  The first part is just an attempt to see what does what in your block.
