Using value of linear stretch action for dimensional constaint

ello, I wanted to ask if there is any solution for using linear stretch action value for dimensional constraint. Everytime I try to connect values of this two attribute types it gives me syntax error. See attachment below

Dynamic parameters/actions and constraints cannot be linked.  It is rare that they play well together in the same block.  I vastly prefer the accurate behavior of the dynamic parameters/actions and there are very few situations where I use constraints.  If you have a specific issue you would like addressed, post the block.

My idea was having two lines with equal lenght; horizontal line with linear stretch operation(value A) and vertical with lenght conatraint(value B=A). This way by stretching horizontal line on x axis my second line would lenghten equally on y axis. Is there simple solution achieving this just by operations?

You can do that with either dynamic parameters/actions or with parametric constraints.  I prefer the dynamic parameters/actions for a variety of reasons.  See screencast for both ways.

Have you tried what you suggested?  Put a Horizontal dimensional constraint (d1) on the horizontal line and have is display a grip.  Put a vertical dimensional constraint (d2) on the Vertical line.  Set the value of d2=d1.  You might also want to add a Fix geometric constraint to the endpoint of one of the lines.

Does that work?

Jerry, that's exactly what I show in the constraints version in the screencast.
