Text Width changes when opening 2016 Autocad Electrical drawing in Autocad 2020

Hi,

So we have an Autocad Electrical set of drawings that were done on a PC running ACADE 2016. We have moved the project to a machine running ACADE 2020. When opening up the drawings on the 2020 PC some of the text in blocks displays but with the wrong width factor. It appears the width factor is being reset. Trouble is we have multiple width factors in the title border. I can change it manually but to do this across all drawings in the project will take some time.

Is there a way around this?

Many thanks,

Jon

Hi,

Can you share the drawing so that we can help you out. Also you could change the width of the Mtext using the command "AEATTSIZE"

That just means you are either missing a font, or you have an override setting in STYLE command. Not much else.

Post DWG files if you can't easily identify it all otherwise.
