Text height inconsistency

Hello,

I recently reinstalled AutoCAD 2018 in my PC and I have a problem with a dynamic annotative block (see attached).

Basically, text is suddenly too small, even as the scale is correct. I tried erasing them, purging, reinserting, redefine them, auditing my file, opening with recover, regenerating all, exporting and replacing but nothing has worked. This is the only block this happens to.

Mine is a server file (about six other people working on the project) and, so long, has only happened to me. I don't know if it is a system variable I didn't configure again or what. I'm losing my mind, so happy if someone could help!

Thanks,

Can you post your problem block in a container file here for us to use?

Hi,

Sure, I'll attach the block I'm having problems with.

1:1 text height is 1.5 units.  It inserts appropriately and scales appropriately based on annotative scale.  I don't see the issue.

Post a file that demonstrates the block misbehaving.

That was the issue. It worked fine in everyone else's computers, except mine. After I opened my files and encountered the problem, it would replicate to any other who opened said files. Later in the day, another coworker started experimenting the same issue.

I copied the blocks into a new, clean file so I wouldn't lose the info already there. I renamed the blocks in the original file and redefined them without that working. Even when it seemed like it was normal again, when I opened the layout file (where my file is attached, I am working with multiple xrefs), the text was super small again (like depicted in my original post).

However, as I gave up, I pasted the "original" blocks back from the clean file, and bam! Problem fixed. Since it is fixed, I can't attach the problematic files anymore. I would like to know if you have any idea what could've caused this since my coworker hasn't been able to solve her issue as I did.
