Spot Elevation Block - leader and attdef not sync'ed

I have created a spot elevation block and am having some issues so I have a few questions:

  1. Whenever I place the block from the Tool Palette into a new drawing I receive a message: "Warning: An error occurred during save.  We recommend you run RECOVER on the drawing." I've run RECOVER on the  block origin file the new base files, etc. but still can't get rid of this message.
  2. Can you create a "leader" with text that is in a different position at different annotation scale? It seems when I move the leader in one scale it moves in all scales which may not be the best fit
  3. Sometimes the ATTDEF and "leader" become separated. I can usually fix this with ANNORESET, but sometimes I cannot.

Leader at different position at a different scale?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

1.  I've never had that happen.  More info needed on how you created the tool palette tool.

2.  If you use a dynamic stretch action it will affect the current scale.  Move action affects all scales.

3.  You didn't include the block so any comment on that would just be a wild guess.

Hi. Thank you for the response

  1. What specifically do you need to know? The block is in a source file that is on server that is called through a tool palette button
  2. This is good to know. Thanks. I believe I have only used the stretch command in this instance
  3. The block is now attached.
