Spacing multiple v notches at an equal distance based on a lengths...

I am editing an existing dynamic block, trying to do the following: Add in a set number of V notches at an equal distance based off the total length. 

The block is currently setup to stretch from 10-12', I would like to add in 3 v notches spaced at an equal distance for all length (10', 11' & 12'). 

So I want the length of the v notch to be at a distance of (Total Length)/4, but I'm not sure how to enter this in...

Details posted above are for the Type 3 only (3 v-notches equally spaced), Type 2 will have 4 and Type 1 will have 6. If you could lead me in the right direction with the first one that'd be great.
