Set Parameter Value from Section of Attribute Value

Hi All,

We insert tree blocks from another program into acad. These blocks have an attribute value from the survey code which includes Canopy size and trunk dia (eg TR*S8/D0.7 for a 8m canopy with 0.7m trunk).

My tree block also has 2 linear parameters, for Canopy Size and Trunk Diameter.

Just wondering if there is a way to get the attribute value into the linear parameters?

I was able to use some functions by Lee Mac to get attribute values and set dynamic block properties as required.
