Hello AutoCAD community,
I am currently working on a project where I need to create dynamic blocks for revision labels while maintaining traceability within the drawings. Specifically, I require two types of blocks: one for 5 revisions and another for 10 revisions.
The challenge I'm facing is ensuring that previous revisions remain visible for traceability purposes without cluttering the drawing. The objective is to keep the headers and the first line (representing the initial issue of the drawing) always visible, while displaying only the last 4 revisions along with the initial one, or the last 9 revisions along with the initial one if there are 10 revisions in total. Additionally, it's crucial that the revisions are displayed in chronological order from top to bottom, with the initial modification at the top and subsequent revisions below, sorted in ascending order by date.
I've been exploring various approaches to achieve this functionality within AutoCAD but haven't found a satisfactory solution yet. Any insights, suggestions, or guidance from the community would be immensely valuable.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Pablo
