Saving block displaces geometry

Hello everyone. I believe I have some basic knowledge and understanding of dynamic blocks and it's been a while that I've been creating some basic models for personal use. I decided recently to renew my "Window" block, creating some new geometry, and inserting the usual parameters and actions that I use in most of my blocks. In the Block Editor and the "Test Block" command everything works fine and as it should, but when I Save & Exit the Block Editor, in the Visibility Action, when selecting most of the options, the geometry is displaced, and I can't seem to be able to figure out why. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Find attached the model and a couple of screenshots of the problem.

I use AutoCAD 2021 (x64), Window 10 Pro.

Hey,

So this isn't a solution, but just some extra info to help figure out the issue.

When I open the attached file and look in the block editor, the block appears the same in both the editor and in the model space, I am not getting the displaced geometry like you are.

See attached screenshots from my end... both on the "double w/ frame" visibility, both seem to be the same.

Something else unusual I noticed is that when I save and close out of block editor it says 2 references in the drawing, although when you run a COUNT command it only finds one, on further inspection it seems you have a nested block reference within another block reference (see third screenshot). This second block reference is essentially the basic single window but with no visibility states, and then your dynamic block with the states, is nested inside.

Have you tried things like copy/pasting into a new drawing, do you still get the same result?

You could maybe even try the WBLOCK command to write it as a new block.

Also worth noting that I am using AutoCAD LT 2024, so maybe someone with more similar setup to you can help more than me.

Hopefully some of this helps narrow down the problem though!

Hello Preston,
Firstly thank you for taking the time and energy to help me with my problem.

Unfortunately, none of the solutions you provided helped with solving the issue and the displaced geometry still occurs. I tries copy/paste on a new file, WBLOCK, and even tried deleting all the geometry one at a time to try to find the nested block, which btw I found out it is refering to a singe line in a custom dimension setting I registered on the application a while back. Still have no idea how and why is nested in the block since I can't find any relevant geometry.
But even so, I still do not understand why having a nested block creates such an issue, and especially why it doesn't appear when you open the file in your application. It's just not relevant as far as my understanding goes.
